Cinnamon Essential Oil

Cinnamomum zeylanicum

Cinnamon Essential Oil comes from the bark and leaves of the cinnamon tree, a tropical evergreen native to Sri Lanka, and revered in cultures around the globe. Known as the "spice of kings," cinnamon’s history dates back thousands of years, often valued as a symbol of wealth and sacred offerings. Its name originates from the Greek word kinnamon, meaning "tube" or "pipe," inspired by the shape of the peeled and rolled bark formed during the drying process after harvest.
