Cypress ESSENTIAL OIL

Cupressus sempervirens
Cypress essential oil is extracted from the bark and leaves of the majestic cypress tree through the process of steam distillation. Sempervirens is derived from the Greek, which means “ever-living.” This enduring and long-lived species is native and closely related to the history and landscape of Western Asia and the Mediterranean region. Humanity has used it for over 4,000 years, making it one of the most ancient oils we use today. The elegant and fresh scent of this essential oil can bring peace in times of sorrow and promote a sense of security and grounding.
